Photonics Software Business Relocates US Office to Rochester, NY
A leading Photonic Design Automation software company, VPIphotonics, headquartered in Berlin, Germany, has relocated its US office from Greater Boston to Rochester, NY. The new facility is located in Downtown Rochester at Sibley Square, offering a strategic location to partner with the growing tech community downtown and the thriving optics and photonics community in the Greater Rochester region.
“VPIphotonics, a German software company, chose the Greater Rochester, NY region for its US office due to its world-class hub for optics, photonics, and imaging. Access to skilled talent, prox-imity to industry partners, and a competitive cost of business supported their decision to relocate here from Boston.” said Matt Hurlbutt, President and CEO, Greater Rochester Enterprise.
André Richter, General Manager, VPIphotonics said, “during our site visit last year, we experienced the energy of the local optics and photonics industry and are pleased to be joining a growing hub for technology and innovation in Downtown Rochester.”
Chris Maloney, Managing Director of US Operations, VPIphotonics said, “We are excited to announce the relocation of our North Ameri-can presence to Rochester and look forward to new partnerships in the local photonics community. This is a strategic location for us to grow and strengthen our industry leadership.”
